Convert-a-link

What is it?

Monotote’s convert-a-link is a feature within Monotote, that automagically converts retailer url’s, into Monotote links, upon clicking a link.

How does it work?

If someone hovers over the original retailer link, they would still see the webshop links, making sure they keep their trust (and SEO power), but once they click on the link, Monotote stops the default behaviour, checks if this product is available within Monotote & if the publisher is connected to this retailer.

If all is well, we’ll automatically open the product in the Monotote plugin on your own website.

Should the product no longer be available, we fallback to the default behaviour -> follow the link.
Convert a link is the easiest and quickest way to get started with Monotote.

How do you install this?

No installation is needed, we enable this automatically. You can still disable it via the the plugin settings in your Monotote dashboard.
